Founded in 1976, Poolbeg Press is one of Ireland's most established independent trade publishers. Based in Dublin, the house is best known for popular fiction — particularly commercial and contemporary Irish fiction — as well as memoir and non-fiction with a strong Irish flavour. Over the decades Poolbeg has launched the careers of many of Ireland's most-read novelists.
